Margin optimization by product line

The Product Lines module is the control centre of your profitability. It lets you define smart, automated pricing structures based on the origin and category of the parts you sell.

What the Product Lines module lets you do

  • Precise categorization: Group your parts by manufacturer or by type (e.g. brakes, oils, tires) using specific codes (e.g. 0ABI for brake pads).
  • Supplier assignment: Link each line to a default supplier (e.g. Distribution Tracteck) to simplify your orders and inventory tracking.
  • Multi-level margin management: This is where you take control. For each product line, you can configure distinct profit margins by customer type.

Once the line is configured, the system automatically calculates the selling price as soon as you add a part to an invoice or an estimate. No more money left on the table because of a calculation error.
